Using the footage shot on Mavo 6k, we’ve managed to create a very complex “head explosion” effect, made purely in Blender
Created completely in Blender, the sequence provides the audience with the blasting effect of the main character flying through the sky, finally reaching her appearance reflected in a cloud (using 3D scan of an actress face).
Highly complex effect, with an additional complexity of camera focus pulling through the shot, we achieved to create a realistic looking drop of water falling down sequence, with the reflection of the actress in it.
